STIGMA'S PURPOSE:

 

Stigma aims to provide support to individuals conceived by rape and incest, and to women and adoptive parents raising children conceived by rape or incest.

Currently we offer online support, contact with others, phone support for referrals and resources, and an extensive collection of links to online and offline books, magazine articles, and websites related to rape conception. Stigma's ongoing aim is to implement more programs and supports to those who are affected by this issue.  

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide a network among the global community of individuals conceived by rape and incest;

To provide support for women who have ever been pregnant by the heinous act of rape, and for mothers, adoptive families, and others who are raising a child conceived in this fashion; and

To increase the general awareness of the issues of rape and incest conception to the general public, encouraging information and exchange to defeat stereotypes and increase knowledge about such issues.
